Description
This sweet little antique door measures 22 1/2" tall x 12 1/8" wide x 1" thick. From an old farmhouse near here, it still has it's original latch and hinges on it, although they are somewhat stiff from surface rust. As you can see, most of the finish has worn off (paint and varnish, I think), but the wood is solid and strong. It is nicely jointed and held together with pegs, two at each corner. The wood is gray on the outside from weathering and brown on the inside. Wonderful as a display, in a sheltered corner of a garden, or make a little cabinet for it!
