  • Condition: Make tile setting a breeze by using this custom built tile thin set / mortar layer. Cut your time of spreading mortar on your tiles by 90%. Works great by laying an even layer of mortar every tile, every time! We have used this Mortar Layer to set 560 sq/ft of 17.5" x 17.5" tile, and it cut our time drastically and saved a lot of hand and back pain. It was built for 17.5 inch size tile, but can be modified to use for smaller size tile by placing a stick of wood plank to make the tile space smaller to accommodate your size tile. Just place a your tile upside down and place it at the edge of the metal trowel, pour some mortar about 2-3 inch high and 2-3 inch wide in the corner against the metal trowel and just push the tile out by the next tile in line laying behind it. Once you do one or two tiles, you'll get the handle of it and you'll see that it's like a fast assembly line of tile after tile back to back of consistently evenly laid mortar ready to be set on your floor or wall.
