MARCHING BAND MECHANICAL FLOWER FIELD PROP - CUSTOM BUILT

Description

When fully open, measures 29 feet across the widest section.
Measurement of base :  6 feet 8 inches
Measurements of petals:  In all, the fully mechanical flower has a total of twelve petals.                                                  Measuring shortest to longest, four are 8 foot each, four are.
10 foot each, and four are twelve foot each.

The base is custom built from wood and covered with outdoor turf.  Each of the petals are constructed from PVC Pipe and Metal that has been heated and bent to mimic the contoured shape of realistic flower petals. The outer petals are covered on the exterior with dark green fabric so the when closed the prop takes on the appearance of a  flower bud still enclosed in its leaves that is waiting to blossom.  The interior side of the outer petals as well as both sides of all others are covered in white muslin linen so that when the flower is opened the prop bursts into a gorgeous display of white petals that come down to rest on the green leaves that once enclosed them providing a realistic representation of this real life process as well as enhancing the overall visual effect of the performance!
