Victorian Antique Mourning Jewelry Gold Filled Black Onyx Seed Pearl Bar Pin Brooch Pair
This antique Victorian era mourning jewelry gold filled black onyx seed pearl bar pin brooch pair dates from the mid 19th century. It is made of a gold filled plated metal (I have not had tested for gold purity), with black onyx inlaid bezel settings, decorative gold work appliqued details and tiny seed pearls in the center. This pair of antique mourning jewelry bar pins womens brooch has a tube hinge C catch clasp closure on the back. The bar pins each measure 2 1/2 inches long. It is in good as-is condition, with some faint scratches, slightly bent gold frames and one pin is missing several seed pearls, black onyx tiny cut inlaid pieces (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Victoriana mourning jewelry wearable art!
