Vintage Jane Irwill Jumpsuit
This is an amazing find!
This gorgeous jumpsuit is in excellent condition.
I can’t find any flaws on it.
It has a collar, short cuffed sleeves, and a 15” zipper down the chest.
I found an advertisement from 1969 that features this exact jumpsuit (see last photo), with the following wording:
“
The longest sweaters of all are jumpsuits with rib-hugging midriffs and wide legged pants.
The shirt tailored jumpsuit takes the long, lithe line to fashion in purple, black, or red.”
This listing is for the purple version.
In the advertisement, the jumpsuit is shown with the model wearing a chain belt at the waist (belt not included).
The 1969 price was – which is equivalent to 3 today! There is no fabric tag, but a lot of the Jane Irwill items were made of wool knit.
There is also no size tag, so please check the measurements carefully.
