Vintage Victorian Hair Work Brooch Acorn Dangle and Guard Pin
This vintage Victorian oval brooch has a table worked open weave design with brown hair and an acorn dangle in the center. An engraved shield plaque is at the top of the brooch.The brooch has an extended pin stem and a C clasp and is made of an unmarked gold metal.  The brooch is 1 1/4" x 1 1/2".  A 2 1/8" long chain holds a guard pin 1 1/4" long. The brooch is in vintage condition and has a vintage patina with wear consistent with its age and
some loose
and damage near the metal fittings.
